TERMS & CONDITIONS of PURCHASE

You have purchased  sophisticated piece of electronic hardware and software package which requires reading the initial instructions and following them to the letter in order to avoid any user caused complications with your device.


NON-USA DESTINATIONS….. PLEASE READ . . .

With close to 5,000 Hot Spots shipped WORLD WIDE to date,  only one package was lost, and we highly suspect that was picked up at customs by the customer after a refund was issued.

We ship USPS: https://www.usps.com/ (all packages are tracked in detail DOOR to DOOR)

All orders placed out of the USA must understand that certain DESTINATION Countries can take up to 30 days to clear CUSTOMS for a MYRIAD of reasons, especially as they are 100% Government run and regulated and unfortunately, your package(s) will not and does not merit any special priority in their operations. Certain foreign packages may clear much faster than others for no apparent logical reason.

So it is our policy for ALL foreign (NON-USA) destinations that 30 days, starting from the day your package Arrives at your destination AIRPORT via the tracking data, must pass before we can issue any form of either replacement or even consider a refund, absolutely NO exceptions will be made under any circumstances due to our extensive GLOBAL USA origination SHIPPING experiences and a stellar USPS track record of successful delivery to our customers world wide.

Have the local CUSTOMS Airport and /or the local shipping port phone number at the ready as you may very well be required to CALL them in the near future with the USPS tracking number for your product(s).

It is 100% the customers destination shipping address responsibility to assure the postal delivery is “ACCEPTED” as tracking records indicate, regardless of the fact that a signature may, or may not be required at the time of any confirmed postal tracking verified delivery to a shipping address, period, absolutely no exceptions will be made.

Any lost or stolen packages after the official CONFIRMED/RECORDED postal delivery are 100% the responsibility of the customer and not the liability of the sender / NEX-GEN, there are absolutely no exceptions, ever, period.


We employ a 7 step QC process on all builds to assure we maintain the high standards of all custom Hot Spots.
1. Images are tested on a pi-3B testing platform.
2. MMDVM Hats are tested on another pi-3B testing platform.
3. Pi-0w / MMDVM Hats / Images are then tested as a unit after custom soldering.
4. Current draw is tested to assure soldering is 100% good.
5. New builds are burned in for 24 hours before shipping.
6. Images are then custom programmed for customer WIFI connection(s).
7. Pi-Star dashboard is verified ALL GREEN connect indicators (tested in DMR mode).

TERMS, POLICY, AND CONDITIONS OF ALL SALES . . . Effective as of 03-12-2018

  1. 30 day exchange policy IF product is returned and verified as defective from date of delivery.
  2. 90 day email assistance, may take 24 to 48 hours to respond.
  3. 1 year Parts & Labor LIMITED Warranty, “EXCLUDING SOFTWARE”, unit must be returned for full Cosmetic & Technical evaluation for repair or exchange consideration.
  4. As these are all custom ordered hand built units, each custom programmed for the customer, any returns within 30 days will have a mandatory 20% restocking fee, without any exceptions.
  5. Orders are typically shipped 10 to 20 days after payment has been received in full.

As every NEX-GEN hot spot is a custom order build, we have a strict non-cancellation policy once an order has been placed. This is standard policy with any custom built product as an industry standard.


Providing you supplied 100% correct and accurate data for us to input into you device in programming, it is very unlikely there will be any complications whatsoever in the operation of your custom built HOT SPOT unit.

PLEASE NOTE: User frustrations due to impatience, short tempered personalities, easily being irritated, and or intolerance to learning and allowing us to correct any issues over the phone , email, and/or over the Internet ARE NOT and WILL NOT under any circumstance be grounds for a return and/or refunds on merchandise as any and all returns must be reasonably deemed both fully legitimate and valid by “NEX-GEN” in advance, and in writing from “NEX-GEN” first before a customer initiates a merchandise return.  No exceptions will be made.

Failure to be fully co-operative in not allowing us to provide SOLUTION BASED customer service and trouble shoot and correct any issues which may occasionally arise ARE NOT VALID grounds for initiating any merchandise return, period. No exceptions will be made.

ANY RETURNS absent of our express granted permission will result in such returns being AUTOMATICALLY  rejected for acceptance and thus returned to the customer by default. If no return address, and/or a FALSE RETURN ADDRESS NOT MATCHING OUR SALES RECORDS is present on any unauthorized  return, we will be under no obligation to seek the sender and under no obligation to offer either a partial not full refund, period.  No exceptions will be made.

Only keeping a COOL, CALM, and COLLECTED attitude and posture allows for a quick resolve in any issues you may be experiencing with your Custom Built  and Custom Programmed Hot Spot device. Temper tantrums are expected in children, but will absolutely not tolerated by our customer service support team under any circumstances, period by grown adults as we are here to deliver technical solutions in a non-threatening, calm, civil communication environment.  No exceptions will be made.
